February 22, 2012,  Tokyo:     For the past 14 months our CEO and Group President, Michael Alfant has also been serving as the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ).  During that tenure, Mike addressed the events surrounding the 3/11 Tohoku Earthquake and the safety issues surrounding the Fukushima Nuclear Power plant.  In addition to overseeing the Fusion Systems Group’s corporate direction, Mike Alfant has also been extremely active engaging many of the U.S. and European top corporate CEOs and Presidents in Japan to form the core advocacy for American businesses in this region of the Asia Pacific.

On March 1-2, the ACCJ will be hosting the 2012 U.S. – Asia Business Summit for the Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC: http://www.apcacjapan.com).  As President of ACCJ, Mike Alfant will be the official host of the event, welcoming close to 400 dignitaries from US and Japanese government officials, American Ambassadors from across the region, other American Chamber presidents and delegates and senior business representatives.  Fusion Systems will support this significant event as a Platinum Sponsor.
