ACCJ Membership Re-elects Michael Alfant as Vice President

TOKYO, Japan - Dec. 8, 2008 - – Michael Alfant has again been elected as a leader of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) and will serve as Vice President in 2009 and 2010. Michael brings over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in Japan and the technology industry as he prepares to serve the diverse membership and interests of the ACCJ member companies.
Michael has lived in Japan for 20 years, and is the President and CEO of Fusion Systems, a leading IT solutions and services firm that serves multinational and domestic customers in finance, insurance, manufacturing, media & communication, transportation and retail industries. Michael earned a BS from City University of New York in Computer Science. In 2005 he founded Fusion Systems Group and set up offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Michael also serves on the Board of Directors of public firms On2 Technologies, Inc. (AMEX: ONT) and Cybird, as well as a number of private technology firms. He also maintains a close liaison with the Japan and American governments and periodically entertains U.S. business leaders interested in exploring opportunities in Japan. He is also a frequent speaker at major Universities in the US, Japan and within Asia.

About the ACCJ
The American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) was established in 1948 by representatives of 40 American companies and has grown into one of the most influential business organizations in Japan.
Consisting mainly of executives from American companies, currently the ACCJ has members representing 1,400 companies with offices in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
